Who is MiSo?
Mina Sophia Giorgino
I began my artistic journey with classical ballet and rhythmic gymnastics, where I achieved national success at a young age and was part of the Swiss junior team. Returning to dance, I trained at renowned institutions such as the Basel Dance Academy, the IGOKAT Dance Academy, and the Atelier Rudra Béjart in Lausanne.
During my training, I had the opportunity to perform solo works, take part in early stage productions – including at the Basel Theatre – and received multiple awards, including several 1st prizes at the ConcourStage IGOKAT and international competition honors in Belgium and France.
As a soloist, I danced in several productions by Compagnie IGOKAT and was a guest performer with Junior Jazz Dance Montreux. I had the privilege of performing in choreographies by Maurice Béjart, Valérie Lacaze, Dietmar Seyffert, and Sergio Bustinduy.
Today, I combine my stage experience and passion with a love for teaching – and invite children, teens, and adults to grow through dance.

As a professional dancer, my teaching experience has shown me how important it is to respond to each individual and nurture their unique strengths.
In my school, which I run with heart and dedication, children, teenagers, and adults all find their place.
I offer personalized coaching in small groups, combining classical ballet with modern dance.
In a warm and supportive atmosphere, I focus on a holistic approach to development – making the joy and passion for dance accessible to all levels.
